You lot really are a bunch of arses 😍

He/she is definitely growing on me, I’m rooting for the frame to be delivered on time, and all the parts to fit with no issues.

Got to admit I don’t get the menhir reference though.

Only dullmen appreciated that one

Nice one Martin! Yes, I know they are stones, just didn't get the context.

Can’t wait for tomorrow on this thread.

Will all the toys be neatly back in their pram or will it be full hissy fit?

Great stuff!

He's already promised to put up a pic of the completed bike. But of course he's going on hols so he might just forget. You can never trust milennials to do anything right.

So, is tomorrow the big day? I'm hoping for an early delivery as I don't want to glued to my phone all day awaiting updates.

Already done, just needed tweaking.

Wrong size and colour
Left in layby near cleethorpes

I'm not sure that would help all that much. 😉

Can't wait for this thread to be picked up by click-baiters:

"He kicked off over a frame that wasn't late! But what happened next, nobody could have guessed!"

Hope he doesn't speak to the delivery driver in the same way he speaks to us or he might not get it at all.

Or he might do, but have to extricate himself from it first, before building it up with incompatible parts!

I heard the CEO personally hand-delivers all the frames.

Has it arrived yet? I have to head off to work soon and don't want to miss the big moment. The anticipation is killing me.

I’m thinking the bike will arrive, all will be fine and dandy, it will get built with no issues and look great. Then it’ll get stolen.

Today is Thursday and delivery was promised today.
Some firms give rubbish service.

Think I'll complain on Facebook.

So will you be apologising for kicking off? Or do you genuinely think that escalating your non complaint up the hierarchy (well, it probably wasn’t, but it’s nice that you think it was) got you your bike in time?

Oh not till August, but it’s good to put fake deadlines in place to make sure you get what you want.

(I deal with people like the OP a LOT with work. They absolutely need something by x date and chase hourly, copying in anyone they think might be important, we get it done, then a month later, ‘I’m just setting up my xxxx’ or ‘can you get me a price on a few more options)

Edit, then the real ****s joke about it. Like the OP.

We need to go easy on the OP. He's got the box open now and can see the mess of tangled carbon/alu shards that Yodel have transformed it into.

My money is on the frame being the wrong size but he will never admit to making a mistake and it will be awesome and sic and in around 3 months time it will be in the classifieds as "new other"

Tracking indicates the location of the package.

Package

Plus 6 pages and nobody has mentioned the frames head angle yet.

Standard internet*, innit. Schrödinger’s Outrage: behave like an outraged dick, then when anyone points out you’re behaving like an outraged dick simply accuse them of behaving like an outraged dick.

Nah, that kind of thing is normally done by stealth in the main forum.

Not at all, I’ve got a parcel here from Belfast hospital which means a busy few hours ahead trolling some hapless, disorganised hothead on kidneytransplantworld.com

I bought forks from Taiwan via eBay on Tuesday. Expected turnaround was 2 to 3 weeks. Courier has emailed to say they'll be here on Friday. In your face OP. I was going to buy from CRC but customer service guy was trying to sell me something completely wrong.

Actually I challenge the OP to a duel. You get your frame today so you've got a headstart. Let's see if I can get my forks fitted tomorrow before you finish the build.
