Chill out Tom

That's pretty much what every stroppy millennial says when they've kicked off over nothing, made themselves look daft and then are asked, reasonably, to show some contrition by an adult.

But, so long as they get their own way in the end, then no lessons will be learned and we'll all be back here in a couple of months when the OP has done the exact same thing over something else.

But it will be just as much fun next time, so here's hoping.....

Hey lads, give the guy a break.

He's deep in conversation with the MD at CRC about the best way to open the box. No instructions were given and he doesn't know where to start. And his mummy won't be back from her Zumba class for another hour.

Well now… you made me think, on that basis: "I bet this time isn't the first time".

So… click click, scroll, hmm let's try that one, click, ah yes, so three clicks away from here we have "Bought some spokes - no nipples!!" (top tip: double exclamation marks always a good indicator), in which it doesn't take long for the inevitable reply saying "the site says ‘nipples available separately’" to appear 😀

In fact the whole thread apparently took a now very familiar route 🙂

That spoke thread is amusing, good distraction from The Waiting. Why are we still waiting anyway, isn't the build finished yet?

People who prefix emails/threads with ‘urgent’ are best avoided also, IMO

Of course, the perfect (if somewhat unlikely) closure here would be if the bike can’t be built because the OP has just realised he’s got no spoke nipples.

Bez - Schrödingers Outrage is excellent.
OP might post a couple of photos; after that he'll return to obscurity.
It's been good for a giggle so thanks OP for inviting us to have a laugh at your expense.

Like the literary reference in your picture wwaswas - there just hasn't been enough Beckett in this thread.

Other titles by Beckett that might be useful to the OP:

The Lost Ones
Catastrophe
What Where

and

Happy Days

Looks good OP (really)

Maybe just a few spokey-dokeys for that finishing touch?

Got spare time before your holiday to tidy up your garden now?

Bastards at CRC didn't line his tyre logos up with his valves. (too slow!)

Make sure you send a pic to

willkernan@chainreactioncycles.com

along with your complaint about the terrible service you've received.

Is that a stock photo off the Internet? I agree, I think it needs another picture with an apology to crc in the back ground to prove its real.

Is that what all the fuss is about?
Hardly seems worth 7 pages on here.
Apology to CRC, and everyone he has bad mouthed on here? I suspect Hell will freeze over before we see any of that.

They’ve sent you the wrong frame, the wheels are right, but that’s not an Orange Nomad 🙈

Not sexist, thought I would preempt some one asking me how would I know.

I would run mine longer that that in event of bar spins and crashes but thats just my opinion from multiple crashes over the years.

Poor OP. First the stress of waiting for a parcel and now all the girls are telling him his hose is too short 🙁

Mm. Certainly one of the less energetic tribute bands I’ve seen.

The real thing hasn't been the same since H left to join Line of Duty.

is this thread for real or have I missed something?  Did someone really get a little panicky about not ordering something on time and decided they were special?
