Kitsbow were (or, until 7th April, are) USA based makers of cycling clothing. With an RRP of $289 – about £235 – for their ‘Icon’ flannel shirt, you might well put them in the category of ‘How Much?!’ and move along. However, they were trying to do things differently…

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. Lusso make BIKE clothing.

I wear Lusso shorts under my baggies.

Lusso sponsors the local XC series. Plenty of very fast mtbers there wearing shock horror lycra.

My Mrs uses Lusso shorts and has raced elite for GB at two world champs bitd. Want to tell her she isn’t a mountain biker?
