Our man with the stats, Eliot Jackson won’t be riding under the Giant team for 2021. After 4 years with the team, he’s moving on!
My time under the Giant tent has come to an end! The past 4 years have been awesome. As I look through all my old photos, it’s hard to pick out just 10 as I feel like there were so many different turning points and accomplishments.
The act of even getting on the team was something I’ll never forget. The long hours at interbike trying to find a ride, betting my season on the hope that I would be on Giant the next year, training harder than ever because I knew what it would mean.
2017 was my first year on the team and it was all about racing. I got my first top 10 at a World Cup, I won the first split at Ft William in qualifying and I got 3rd at Crankworx.
2018 was my year of seeing what other things a bike had to offer. I went to Transcascadia, traveled a lot and discovered my love-ish(emphasis on the ish) for trail biking. 2018 was a year I’ll remember for the rest of my life because it was so pivotal.
2019 was the year of random. Presenting at the World Cups andgetting a top 10 at Crankworx Whistler.
2020 was nothing if not “productive” I’ll be forever grateful for the people at Giant for giving me the space to learn and explore this year.
Throughout all of this, it has been with some of my best friends, endless conversations and laughs, some of my highest highs and lowest lows, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
I’m crazy excited about the future and I’ll always enjoy popping my head in the @giantfactoryoffroadteam pits.
Thanks for the great times!
