Although I am a Lancastrian, I freely admit that West Yorkshire is my favourite place to ride. Rarely a week goes by without me riding and exploring the South Pennines.

    Cragg quarry is/was already great, spent my youth up there on a Townsend smokey bear.

    ahhh memories.

    LOL I had a Somkey Bear, such a cool paint job! The guy in the shop told my parents they used to put white paint on the frame and fill the room with smoke and it stuck to the wet white paint, oh and with all those gears I could ride up a wall!

    Happy happy days…
