This Sunday (9th Aug) will see the first event at the venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games MTB race. Cathkin Braes on the south side of Glasgow is a fantastic location with some great riding and amazing views across the city.
The team at SXC have done a fantastic job to create a course that is challenging and fun to race, with steep testing descents including the 4x style ‘Ski Slope’, lung busting climbs, and fast flowing singletrack, so why not come and give it a go, and be one of the first to race on the 2014 games course.
If racing isn’t your thing, but you’d like to help to make this event a big success come along and lend a hand with marshalling.
For more info check out the SXC website.

FYI
Neil Walker of Walkers Cycling is leading a ride tomorrow night from the car park near the Golf Course leaving at 7.30pm sharp. This is an ideal opportunity to pre ride the course and to get an idea of what the Games course may look like.
