The star of that YouTube video is set to demonstrate his awesome riding skills this Saturday at Wright Robinson College in Manchester.
23 year old mountainbiker Danny MacAskill’s film for Inspired Bicycles, which shows him riding around Edinburgh, has attracted over seven million views since it went online a few weeks ago.
Danny, who is part of “The Clan” – a similarly talented bunch of bikers from Scotland, will be showing off his skills on Saturday June 20th as part of Wright Robinson College’s “Community Fun Day”
Wright Robinson’s Community Fun Day in conjunction with Manchester City Council and Greater Manchester Police will also have lots of other family-fun things going on: games, stalls, refreshments, police dog show and a bouncy castle! 🙂
10am until 4pm at Wright Robinson College, off Abbey Hey Lane, Manchester, M8 8RL
{Extra news – he’s also going to be performing in the middle of the Halifax Piece Hall this Wednesday afternoon too!}

Any more info on what time he’s on? This is another poorly advertised event in Calderdale. Apparently Calderdale council are organising some sort of cycle week but having googled it, can’t find any info!
I don’t know about the Halifax event but The Clan are running shows throughout the day (10am-4pm) at Wright Robinson College Manchester 🙂
We will be on at 11:30, 1pm and 3:30 with shows and doing a bunny hop masterclass around 1:15 after that show in Manchester.
Halifax tomorrow night from 5pm til 8pm at the Piece Hall.
Come and say hello.
perhaps he can show you how to deal with the calderdale death steps
Thanks to Singletrackworld for letting us know about this. Almost missed this great, Free event. Someone should be kicked up the arse at Calderdale Council for not advertising this properly. These guys are fantastic see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SHMjdcNzds for a little bit of footage. Better still keep an eye on http://www.mb7.com/theclan/events.html for more date and get along and see them. You will not be disappointed.
