Star Destroyer...nice and roomy, quite well armoured and have a surprising turn of speed.

[img] [/img]

Still, when they cost more than 3.88 billion Imperial credits, which is the equivalent of several star systems' annual economic output, I might be waiting a while before affording one 🙁

The ****off big bastard Imperial Star Dreadnought from Star Wars. Darth Vader's flagship.

[img] [/img]

Notice the 'weeny' little Star Destroyers around it. Imagine how big something like this might be, if it were real.

WANT.

Be a bugger to park, though, I'd imagine.

I almost said Starbug!

But it's the uselessness and overall black cool that made me choose the stuntship.

I bet that Dreadnaught has a fatal flaw though, like a laundry vent that leads to to the reactor core 😀

From films -Darkstar - Filthy messy, doesn't work properly, captain kept in deep freeze. its more real than all this glossy stuff

From books - Helva - the ship who sang

Or perhaps from Banks culture novels - meatfu**er

Size isn't everything. Star Destroys have the same optional extras but come with parking assist as standard.

Sleeper service would kick the ass of all those poncy space ships! 20 miles long, 3 wide and 2 thick or something - capable of extreme speed and has a secret army of over 100 000 slave unit warships concealed on board

Good point, and one well made. The Dreadnought is a bit of a barge. But at 19,000m long (according to geeky Wiki info), you could have a mountain biking trail centre inside one...

On a smaller scale, a TIE Interceptor would be a nippy little bugger. Just right for popping to the shops.

Starbug because it's hard, well hard.
But for pure sleek coolness, there is only one.

I'm with the OP. Black switches on a black background that light up with a black lighit is a design classic. I bet if you look really carefully there's even a little black apple logo on the outside.

Why has no one said 'The Millennium Falcon?

Although there are many of Banks' Culture Ships I could go for.

With a jacuzzi and Ms. Portman, of course.

Although a BSG Viper would be pretty cool too.

I always like the concept of Larry Niven's General Products Hull as sold by the Puppeteers- nothing too sexy but very practical just about believable.

I like these too, though not really a spaceship.

I'd like to have been offered a ride in Barbarella's spaceship. Can't find too many pics that won't result in a banning so not going to post one.
