I use the Biologic iphone 4 bike mount, approx £40 and whilst it has done it’s job well there is a few flaws in the design. If you want to take a photo/video you’ll have to remove the iphone from the case as the plastic lens on the Biologic is utter crap as it distorts pics n’ vids to such an extent that they’re worthless, The plastic that the case is made from is rather brittle and hard, i broke my original by standing on it by mistake but to be fair i did get sent a replacement free of charge and whilst i have had the occasional tumble on the bike the case has survived in one piece. The touchscreen cover works ok, not great but enough to navigate functions, eg viewranger gps app, music, phone etc, not as swish as i would like but then again it was only £40 and it does seem to be waterproof but i’ve not been out in torrential rain with it yet.

I use a set of bluetooth sennheiser neckband headphones on the road and bluetooth sony mw800 in-ear headphones on the trail.

Fairly happy with it for the price but if i was buying again i would hunt out some of the cnc machined alloy cases that i read about somewhere that lock onto a standard light mount.

I have a RAM mount, it’s not waterproof and doesn’t offer any protection, but it holds the phone really well and doesn’t rattle. I only have it mounted to my road bike as I prefer to pop my phone in a case and in my pocket when I’m off road.

I have an Ultimateaddons mount and case you can have for £10 posted if you want it. It’s one ride old and as new. I couldn’t handle the little rattle on my road bike. It gets great reviews and the case is really waterproof.

Put it in your pocket man!

Last thing you want is going over the bars (or some other calamity) and trashing your posh phone….

…..which is exactly what happened to my Bryton GPS!
