PMSL...the way rides should be.
The first few times I looked at the frame i liked the gusset around the toptube/ downtube area. But the more I look at it the more I have to agree with Scruff. Just looks a bit odd. Have you looked at maybe a cnc'd brace. Something similar to the cnc'd brace on the Airborne Black Widow.... Just a thought....
Brant, this wonder-stay youve designed, will it clear chaindevices and such things? Just i had to take a file to the chaindevice fitted to my 456SS to get it to sit against the ISCG mounts.
If by "you've not lived", you mean "I've not nearly died because I rode a horrible abortion bike down a bumpy off-road track" then yes, I've not lived. Now when's the Clunker Classic this year...
Have you looked at maybe a cnc'd brace.
No (with good reason). Anything CNC'd in there would be just not right.

Yes.
Where are we going to be able to try before we buy?
I love the look of it but I've been caught out before when buying a bike from reviews to find it doesn't suit my (NON) style.
I am liking muchly the disc mount
I am not liking muchly Toby's haircut, make haste with yonder clippers!

You can buy something other than a brant special if you don't like them you know.

Dealers, demo days, Lee Quarry, STW weekender.
There's a dealer that lives near me. Got done for torturing his brother in his sound proof cellar.
I'll bang on his door and see if he's playing out on his push bike.
Brant, if I run a single ring setup, will that mean the nice chainstay brace thingy gets all dirty?
