It means the outdoor business among other is having the worse spring to early summer since probably foot and mouth, so they have two million quid over stock that they'll be blowing out on deals...
It really has been the perfect storm of terrible economic combined with climate conditions for seasonal businesses like the outdoor world.

normally they will take the total RRP of all the total stock they hold, then take the total of all the sales prices - the £2m is the difference. i.e. they've discounted their entire tent stock by £2m.

basic maths here. let's say an average toothbrush removes 20mg of plaque over a period of time. if the super toothbrush removes 40mg, then it removes 100% more than an average toothbrush. they could just say "twice as much plaque"
incidentally, if an average toothbrush removes no plaque, then a toothbrush removing 100% more plaque would still not be removing any plaque 🙂
