    Hi my mum wants a freeview recorder with xmas coming up, think I’ll buy her one.

    Whats the deal with these I want simple to use and reliable. Is there an industry standard? Cheers for any help.

    Had to retune a couple of times to improve the signal, but apart from that, very good. Can’t imagine life without it now.

    I’ve got a Humax Freesat Recorder box. had it a year and its been great. Really good programmable remote with it too.

    Thanks guys I had seen the humax on the freevew website. I’m correct in thinking it will replace the set top box
