My weekend riding involved being a lardy triathlete at the Keswick Mountain Festival

Went out for a bimble this arvo and having stopped to take a shot for this thread, I rejoined the trail slowly cruising when I spotted this little fella just the other side of the hedge from me..

I couldn’t get the second hand camera to do anything and it wasn’t until later that I realised it was on a custom setting that I didn’t recognise, but still managed to grab these two pics.. (oh for the days when I didn’t instinctively reach for a camera when encountering nature close up)

The deer wasn’t shy in the slightest and once he’d noticed me he moseyed over for a closer look

Bit late to the party but had a great weekend in the Lakes with the wife for our wedding anniversary. No big mountain riding but great all the same.

Just back from a fab week in Dorset, on the Isle of Purbeck. Lots of walking and running, plus my first proper bike ride in years after recently getting back into it. After umming and aahing about ‘upgrading’ my bike to something more current, the week has convinced my to hang on to my Stiffee. Since the oily bits are already pretty worn, I took the opportunity to ride everywhere in the middle ring. Conversion to 1×11 is now on the cards.

Strapping from Järvsö bike park , stacked just before lunch. X Ray said it isn’t broken so the race is on the get better before an enduro next weekend. Hurts like hell at the mo !

First weekend since I got the Ok to ride from my foot operation. Had a couple of pootles from home in the week then this weekend we have been playing in Wharncliffe and up onto Cutgate. Foot feels a lot better now I don’t have as much metal in it.
