Not a riding pic as sucj, but a post riding, just cleaned pic of my new bike…

Weather turned out lovely in the end 🙂

Did you find the fat b*****d that sat on your top tube ajantom?

Haha! One does wonder why they didn’t go for a straight tube and a brace. Which they did on the updated Instigator. I like it though, looks odd, but pleasing (to me anyway!)
    Rides like a corker too.

    Yeah, looks sweet regardless

Absolutely perfect roads north of Cardiff yesterday evening: 20kms without a car to be seen.

Fantastic weekend of riding for me. BPW on Friday and then a ride from Talybont on Usk Saturday. Got soaked and covered in mud. Introduced my mate to tussock riding! Cwmcarn on Sunday.
Even the grumpy guy in the shop at BPW couldn’t spoil my mood!

Three days of epic riding/pushing/hanging on for dear life including the last one on a fat bike after my forks exploded with no injuries. Then slammed fingers in van door –> broken finger 🙁

That was nuts! We climbed about 750m to get ABOVE nan bield. Took a while. This was the trail down to the start of NB. It was incredible exposed as well. I didn’t ride much of it, Cez (pic) rode most of it. Kind of got me warmed up for top section of Nan Bield tho. Never ridden all that before. Although I many-dabbed!

I was chased around the woods by this bunch of reprobates:

They look WAY too happy, will have to set a harder pace next weekend!

And we found a rather cheeky, rather excellent, new “Jump” trail hidden in plain sight 😆

Took the fatbike on the train (lots of staring. Has nobody ever seen a blummin fatbike on a train before?…) to a distant town so that I could ride it back as offroad as I could.

Let the train take the strain.

Nettle rash hell on earth! There is a path there believe it or not.

Amongst bluebells; they’re small and dainty – just like me. Woods only a few miles away.

Torridon was the wettest I’ve ever seen it, but it was still amazing.

We almost turned the Torridon Inn into a swimming pool!

Took a newbie out for a spin up Lantua’s steep trails. not sure he will be back in a rush and it didn’t help that I made him ride the bouncier bike.

sometimes those days are the best hairyscary – that photo looks like your on an epic 😀

I love that trail – feels like your riding on the moon.

The ride up by the loch musta been a bog fest though?

This one from the MTB Marathon down in Rahayder

and this one form the Elan Valley reservoir where Barnes Wallace first tested the bouncing bombs of Dam Busters fame.

Thanks @trekster for the link. That looks well worth a re-visit to ride that.

I’d happily be carrying back up here than looking out of the window today!

Hi Alex – Friday pic is Ullock Pike. Which is not strictly a BW hence ridden on a Friday 😉

Saturday is the woods at Claife down from Far Sawrey to Windermere (Harrow Slack on the map). Sunday is the BW down from Natty Bridge over near Torver/Walna Scar.

We did the classic loop, but included the left turn just after the bothy and stayed to the right of the two lochs after the road climb.
    No mud are all 🙂

@scuttler – thanks. The ridge looked epic!
