Can you narrow it down a bit?

You are not far from Calderdale. Lay you hands on OS maps for Hudds and Bfd and South Pennines. Lots of bridleways all worth riding.

    Or go local.
Park at Newmillerdam, Walton Woods, Nostell, Sharlston, Wellbeck, follow the river to Chantry Bridge, through Portobello, Asda & back to NMD.
    That’ll do yer for starters.

Have a look at the Wakefield Wheel as well for an easy starter, you can find signs for it around the area’s that Chip has mentioned, or pick up a route map from Pugneys

thanks for that, i live in ossett so i ca do it from home(no need to stick the bike in the car to get to the start point) i`ll allow more than 3.5 hours though. 😳

Get yourself over to gisburn forest if you don’t mind a drive out. Lots of routes to go at, from easy to not so.
