Hey, I had a set with Continental Mountain 2.4 UST tyres, they were ace as a general purpose, strong wheelset. I would defo still have them if some scumbag hadn’t nicked htem off my bike during the night. Grr.

The only thing was the aesthetics against my old Spesh Pitch brown frame, I thought it looked rank! But they do look a lot nicer against some other colour schemes. I wouldn’t hesitate to get them again.

My SO has the QR one’s on her bike, and they have been used tubeless (with sealant) from day 1 and they are great.

The only tricky thing is you have to loosen the valve and push it up a bit to get the tyre to seat in properly in order to inflate them with a track pump. Mighten be a problem with the wider rims on the M776’s tho.

Oh and the freehub was shit, and she went through 2 in 2 months (1 in a single ride). The latest one seems to be OK so it might have been a bad batch.

Great wheels – using them with UST High Rollers and no sealant, no probs. Stiff and very hard to knock out of true, have a set on an Alpitude with 140mm Pikes for some time.
