How are the woods looking? Somme like or worth a dabble?

I rode through on a pair of these yesterday and didn’t die.

I do tend to travel the path less trod though.

It was good last weekend even in the cold and rain. Has dried out since then and is shaping nicely for spring so worth a dabble. However it could be the BHF 5 and 10k runs in there on Sunday

Not too bad yesterday, the trail next to this was pretty slippy in places. I didn’t die though.

First time in ages I’ve ridden the Wyre properly, had a great day.

I’m quite local, ridden ribbs but not trails in the sure forest, are the trails marked or do you need local knowledge? Also where’s the best place to park?

    cheers

Down alongside Dowles is still wet n muddy. New work at bottom of what’s left of “Spiral Staircase” is a total mess. In the vain hope of an early summer and no time to change it back last Sunday, to something more grippy, a Smallblock 8 on the rear, coupled with a total lack of talent, caused me an “interesting” moment down one of the gullys near Knowles Mill. It was a little damp there !
