Start a 7 week course of CBT next week. Hoping my attitude to work and life in general improves as a result. Also expecting outcome of an interview for another job next week. Suspect that may work quicker than the CBT!

Sounds terrible and I have genuine sympathy but a bit of perspective might help.

As a direct result of your conference call did anybody….

a. Die?
b. Sustain serious injury?
c. Lose their job?
d. Get anything actually shoved up their arse?

If the answer to all of these is “No” then, in the grand scheme of things, it’s probably not that bad.

Crikey! It’s normally just one morning, and you can usually complete the whole Direct Access course in a week. I think you’re getting ripped off 🙂

It looks like I’m going to be engaged on projects the whole year without any down time, including being away 5 days a week since Easter.

Has its upsides though – Sweden, then Farnborough, then Glasgow next. Paperclips won’t sell themselves.

If the answer to all of these is “No” then, in the grand scheme of things, it’s probably not that bad.
