t the mag seems like a parochial Hebden Bridge MTB club newsletter much of the time (seems that way to me anyway)?

at least it’s not just me that thinks it or dares to say it then. be carefull, you may be on the receiving end of online sneering, even if you explain the rationale for your opinion. just because some of the mag story writers treat their opinion as fact they do seem to project this behaviour onto other people.

I think they do a good job with what they have, lets be honset – if it’s shiny shiny new – you’ll have read about it on the web well before anyone can get it into print. The magazine is pretty much about the riding and it covers a pretty broad spectrum whiile still having it’s own identity.

The forum – well it’s about living with the addiction isn’t it? it’s a great place for the theories, gripes and niggles that plague you on the fireroad to come and be free (although not necessarilly resolved).

I’d have to say Wideopen represents the best UK magazine (okay so it’s web only) but it’s nicely in depth, well in touch with UK racing and good value kit, and not too far up it’s own dale. Shame it’s not more frequent.
