. . . I need to decide on a fork colour

. . . and yes, I know I posted a similar thread a couple of days ago but this one's open to anorexic bikes too (so long as they're white) 😉

I'm slightly sheepish because I've got 2 white bikes! Both have black forks.

The wee one:

Just back from a week at The White Room in Sainte Foy, so forgive my self-indulgence.

Silver forks, white & black frame - not the best for colour schemes that look cool.

Mamadirt.

White frame + pink lowers
White frame + Turqoise lowers

White frame (for me), means you can go crackers on the fork lowers.

Going back abit, I had a rootbear (brown) Heckler frame and baby-blue Mazz lowers.

Thanks man, totally love it. I've been riding it all over the mountains for the last few weeks because the hustler's pikes were broken and it's great; heavy and slow but still great fun. Did 30-odd km's with 2000m's climbing last Saturday!

Some lovely looking bikes there folks 🙂

Are we allowed to ask what the frame is??

Not yet 😉 . Dropped a deposit on something tiny and white this afternoon - watch this space . . .

Ian - you have my front hub and floating rotors . . . hmmm, white Bombers do look good.

Hora I reckon pink lowers may clash a little with the hub . . . shame these aren't available yet though. Five looks cool btw.

Reckon I'm more likely to get the new one sprayed orange 😉 . Orange rocks!!! No, it's a little more skill compensation I'm after Az.

White is so 2009, we're back tomulticoloured anodising.

White'll be a nice background to go mad with the accessorising then 😉

Stumpy, is that a Nuggett? Reckon small white bikes look pretty damn cool 8)

White is not a slimming colour but the Kona Stab Supreme don't give...

It likes big, fast open tracks which is all white really.

TLR, yes it is a VF2, can be built to around 27lb but with good tough kit. Has Dipper built his up yet? Have you seen his F5 yet, beast or what! 🙂

Bought the frame looking like this:

Strip and powdercoat was £40. Decals a fiver. I *almost* got it done in orange but chickened out at the last second. Metallic purple looked nice but thats going too far.

Well you did say silly light bikes were allowed.

While its not that light for a road bike 19.5lbs according to Trek its bloody light compared to my Pitch.

Trek 1.2

Trek 1.2

Apologies for the very shonky pics.
