Prob been done but can’t find anything.
Want a side entry cage to fit into a Whyte T130 – ideally a 750ml one held nice and securely….cheers

    Spesh or lezyne

Tried spesh on Bronson, doesn’t actually fit bottles very well (must be a spesh one that does mind) and the lezyne were daft money.

Cheap elite ones below are excellent, enough angle to be pretty much side entry.

I have a pair of the Specialized Zee cages (one left/one right) and they’re just fine regardless of terrain.

Having said that, it’s worth noting that there is a bit of variation in the height of the groove/indent on some water bottles so fit is better with some than with others.

I ended up with an Arundel on my mojo. It’s about the only cage that will fit the large frame. Oddly, the specialized zee fits the wife’s medium frame.

Specialized Zee ones have been good for me.

I’ve had specialized Zee cages on a couple of bikes for a while now and I’ve not had a bottle work loose yet.

Spend a fortune as above or just use a cheap ETC or Chinese alloy one. Bend (sorry custom size it) it a touch to fit. Never lost abottle since using them . Even big buggers full.

I’ve got a Lezyne side entry cage and 750mm bottle on my Large T130.

I elongated the bolt holes in the cage to push the whole thing back towards the seat tube to create a bit more space and it’s been fine and the bottle has been nice and secure.

I like the Bontrager one, and if you can live with a red one EVans have them for £7.49 at the mo.

Zee cage with the specialized bottles. Find other brands of bottles don’t fit right if the groove is the wrong place.
