I live around Portsmouth, and been thinking about going up to Wales for a long weekend of riding, maybe try out some of the trail centres and such. Never been before, and was wondering where's the best place to go? Would probably prefer to stay in a b&b, but open to ideas.

Prefer South Wales for the driving time, but if its worth driving for longer, may consider it.

Coed Y Brenin is good been there a couple of times and
Also near bye is the Climachx trail and this has to be done
There is a fab Downhill section on this trail too.

nicks said it in the first post really. not much more to say. If you get bored of those two and want to travel a bit further, brechfa is really good, especially the red and don't count out the blue/green there for an easy but fun ride
