apologies if this is a daft question and google can answer but I’ve spent a  bit of time searching and not had much luck.

whenever I work on my Jap motorbikes i have numerous sites I can visit which offer full microfiche type exploded diagrams of every component complete with parts numbers. I don’t work much with cars but am now starting to need to work on my 2002 focus  to save cash  and wondered why the same doesn’t appear so easy to find for car parts.  Please prove me wrong and point me in the right direction!

    thanks

Not saying “LMGTFY” 🙂 – but Google

When I had a Saab and needed stuff like that (“Microfiche”! I used to make that for a job!) I’d go to the Saab forums and owners club sites. Usually found what I needed on them.

    Just get the Haynes manual?

They’re not as thorough as they used to be, but then rebuilding an engine to modern tolerances isn’t really possible at home.

    They’re online too 😉

Servo’s link is an amazing thing!

I already have the haynes but prefer detailed diagrams and factory info tbh. The links are just what I was looking for and  wouldn’t have found them easily by googling so thank you very much .I often find asking for  info   on here gives better results than Google  and it has once again !
