The seal that stops water running down inside the door, what the window slides between.

    This bit:

They’re dying on my car and as I’m taking half the doors apart anyway to fix something else I might as well replace it, but my Googling is failing and I’m blowed if I can find the things online anywhere, or even what they’re called.

“Window seals” just seems to give me the side & top seals, is there a specific name for these? I don’t need to replace the whole way round, just the bottom “wiper” ones. And as a bonus: where’s a good place to buy these for a Renault?

I’d look on Ebay. Loads of car parts dealers on there. “Weatherstrip” or “Window trim” seems to find what you’re looking for – beware of Chinese sellers if you’re in a hurry though!

Having bought one for my Volvo a few years ago usually the only place to get them is main dealers and unless you’ve got a parts ID for the car it’s difficult to know their  part number or description to try and order online.

But if it’s a Renault surely you’ll be on first name terms with your spare parts manager anyway?

Interesting. I think it’s probably too far gone but will have another look with that in mind.
