Santa has brought me (well, I drove up to Nothumberland this morning and collected it) a cyclocross bike. I swore I wouldn’t have another but I succumbed. Even with the 380 mile round trip starting at 5:00am this morning, it was easily a bargain. £270 for a Felt F1X! Oh yes 8)
Anyway, what shoes for when I chuck it over my shoulder and run on the Peak District rocky bridleways where bike and/or me will become broken if I ride it. I’m thinking Hagg Farm type of stuff. My carbon soled disco shoes would probably have me broken on the first outing.

I use sidi dominator’s, stiff enough to get the power down and fine for walking in too. They last forever too.

But can you get a decent jog going on rocks in them Gary? Any idea what guys doing the three Peaks and that kind of stuff use?
