what portable jet washer ?

i have had 2 my lbs got in for me and the hose locky bits keep breaking. are there any robust ones??
the one i had is green with hose lock type attachent. (dirtworker?)

Yours is brand x i think? ive got a mobi and think could possibly experience similar problem as you in the future, the fittings could be better imo.
I have also used dirtworker before and they seem better built i think

you used to be able to get brass replacements – try landscape gardeners that’s what they use.

We had a Brand X and the hose attachment snapped off in the car and we couldn’t get a replacement, at least on the Mobi they are well tucked out of the way and any leaks have been sorted with ptfe tape. Also the cigarette plug fried on our Mobi and we got really good customer service from Mobi geting a replacement posted out within days, after e-mailing a couple of photos over to them.

I’ve had a Dirtworker for about 2 years and it’s great. Customer service was excellent after I ran it when It still had some ice in it (I know…..) and blew a fuse.

I was sent a bunch of spares foc.

Couldn’t recommend them enough.

If you have a look through the “our story” section it explains they changed the name. Dirtworker is 5 years old this year, I really like mine 😀 , and they were dead helpful last year when my “spray gun” die.

Ok, I see. I guess the original (yellow) model isn’t sold anymore then? Pity as I prefer the shorter squatter shape than the taller Nomad – would think it’s less stable in the boot of a car than the old Dirtworker.

I also had brill customer service from them BTW. I knackered an o-ring and after one email they sent me a bag of o-rings, a new style lid (with one way valve to prevent leaks) and a bunch of stickers all totally free of charge.

Had the Mobi for 12 months or so. It has an internal rechargeable battery which is nice. Will clean a couple of bikes on one charge. Can also run it directly off mains or car battery. It all works well enough. Had one go back as it leaked. The hose attachment is plastic and does not look massively robust. The handle is well made and the unit easily generates sufficient pressure to clean soiled bikes.

My Dirtworker is still going strong. Had it for about 3 years now. Highly Recommended.

If anyone is looking for a new Dirtworker, I have a boxed, brand new & unused one in my shed for £70 posted.
