Had a pair of Caterpillar boots for about 4 years and they’ve been fantastic, although they are now coming to the end of their life.

Any ideas for an alternative? or just stick with the Cat’s?

mine were less than £100 but you can spend a lot more if you want metal toes and Gortex. Lovely leather, Vibram soles……tremendous.

Caterpillar machines are used extensively by the IDF (Israeli army) to bulldose Palestinian homes and olive trees.

The Palestinian Solidarity Campaign is encouraging a boycott of all Caterpillar products, so I would encourage you to choose some other manufacturer.

    Sermon over,

The Taliban use Toyota Landcruisers. I’m going to stop talking to Yaris drivers.

Back to the OP. Get another pair of Cats.

    Millipede sandals?

    Earwig moccasins?

    Bluebottle loafers?

    Tarantula trainers?

    Hornet slippers?

    Kitten heels?

I have nothing constructive to add, sorry.

I’ve got a pair of these Terra work boots…

Much, much more comfortable than the Cat boots I had before

I do like rigger boots, bt most of our clients don’t allow them on their sites anymore

Having some taste and dragging yourself out of the 90s is a good alternative to wearing Cat boots.
