On the way out for my ride today I heard a tinkling. Looked down, and my aeroad had pooped its’ chainsuck protector out onto the tarmac. Perhaps it was complaining.

Google didn’t seem to offer much help.

Any good household / cheapish glues for putting it back on? Good old superglue?

    Araldite.

Araldite. Or E6000/Shoe Goo (which won’t stick as well, but keeps a little flexibility, and is easier to undo)

3M Trim Tape is another good option

    3M 5952 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape 19mm x 3m x 1.1mm

I’d say araldite. Or a contact adhesive. It’s not a particularly demanding situation. Make sure both surfaces are clean though – that will have more of an impact than the type of glue.

The one on my Blur was stuck on with adhesive tape. Less permanent should it need to be replaced.

3M VHB tape is what Ibis use to attach theirs and it’s very strong
