What do we know about a Scott Genius MC10 08?

Looking at a couple of bike options after selling my Stumpy Expert FSR. Do mainly XC and some mild all mountain, a lot of climbing as well so a lighter bike is a bonus. I weigh 18.3 stone at 6ft 1 and as an ex rugby player am big but reasonably fit for a chubby.

Seen a MC10 08 I like but am I too heavy for it? Do the frames often fail? For what I ride is it going to be ok? Will a Large fit me at 6ft?
