Reminds me of when I was at a mine in Borneo, all the feral cats hat no tails so we asked the local guide, he said they must have come like that from the factory because nobody had ordered them

Cinnabar moth, daytime flyer, caterpillars feed on ragwred, hence the warning colours, ‘cos ragweed is toxic, so they taste foul.

Yup, cinnabar moth. Started coming out a month or two ago. Happily strips the leaves from Ragwort, which is fine by me.

My son is doing his best to make them extinct by collecting them in a jar.

We have a lot of dead caterpillars. Turns out you need to feed living things.

Doesn’t look bright enough and the rings aren’t consistent like a cinnabar.
