    Seems I’ve managed to lose the one that fits all my spokes 🙄 I’ve always used a lifeline set like these:

    They suit me pretty well but I’ve never used any other decent keys, anything I should consider?

    Link doesn’t work but if it ain’t are a pair of red and yellow spokey pro spoke keys then your money’s wasted.

    The pro has double depth nipple engagement and makes for less rounded spokes

    I like the Spokey Pro (specifically Pro, which has twice the length of metal insert to spread the load on the nips).

    I prefer the Park ones to the Spokey. I’ve had a Spokey shear 2 brass nipples at the point between the square and round sections of the nipple when disassembling 2wheels recently. Never had that with the Park ones in over 30 wheels.

    <edit- god DAMN it links, y u no work?>

    This is what I tried to link… I really like how these feel in the hand. But the spokey looks good and maybe I’ll like them more. Cheap enough to give it a try so cheers folks!

    I’ve Spokey and Park, the Spokey is more comfortable.

    My Spokey Pro was good but started ejecting the metal pieces when the nipples got stiff, the plastic seemed deformed a bit.

    I got a DT and it’s great. Shown here as the classic.

    I use the sapim one. It works well as I tend to use sapim spokes and nipples more than any other.

    P&klie or park tool master are both very good and feel nice in the hand. The p&klie is my favourite at the moment as it does have a very precise fit and is really easy to put a lot of force on due to the wide design

    Spokey engages the nipple on three corners whereas Park uses 2 flats – important with alloy or seized nipples

    I like my old Spokeys. The only time I’ve had problems has been with corroded alloy nipples which were **** and needed replacing anyway. They’re certainly more than capable of winding up normal spokes to normal tensions, and they’re nice and comfy to use.

    Park do a 4 sider which is good

    The 2 sider flat is a good bit easier to slip onto the nipples. If you are really pro, 2 sider for the fast initial build and 3 pointer for final tension and future maintenance.

    Like the look of the P&K keys! But are they available anywhere? Google doesn’t turn up much…
