I dwell not far from the worle end of the woods. They’re OK for a couple of hours, if you know thebest routes and abandon all your Row principles. After the rain we’ve had, the rock, rooty surface will keep you entertained. The undergrowth is starting to close off some of the trails now, unless one is tolerant of a little trail branding.
Overall, its a tiny wood that’s handy for a quick blat or for linking into a bigger Mendip ride if you live local. I’d not travel from further than a couple of motorway junctions tops though.
