Well, well, well – mrs deadly is having a baby!!

Nah, seriously, we’re couldn’t be more delighted. It’s been a long wait, with some heartbreak along the way. It’s been very emotional telling close friends and family – many of whom had given up hope of a wee darcy – especially with the arrival of a dog last year 🙂 We’ve had a few scans and everything has been going ok. Had a midwife’s appointment today and got to hear a strong little heartbeat again. You think you’re a cold bastard, then you hear that and turn to mush. Finally got to tell two very important friends on Sunday and we all bloody cried again. 😆

Due date: Christmas Day
So it’ll probably be a bit late. Either way it’s going to be a busy Christmas & New Year.

My eBay browsing habits have taken rather a curious turn.

as a seasoned father of 6 weeks now I would heartily recommend that you savour the next few months of your current life. your new life will be changed massively, in some good ways and some not so good.
and unless you’re a b**tard your life next year will not be your own, but at least you get to share it with someone like you.
