Weekend – Pics or it didn’t happen

@fergal We did it and Ben Avon south to north dropping down to Inchrory. Over Bealach Dearg back to Braemar. Superb, tough day out. Way below zero up top when you factor in the strength of the wind but it more of a help than a hindrance, thankfully.

Saturday – No pics but got lost in a bog looking for a path I was sure was there. Turns out it is, just slightly to the left. (Jocks road).
Sunday – road loop Deeside to Donside and back. Three nice climbs though was a bit windy on one of the descents and so I never quite managed to let go of the brakes.

swavis you are doing Beinn a bhuird the wrong way round! which way did you come down?

Yes as Shortbread describes, not the wrong way round for our route choice.
I’ve ridden it counterclockwise too and the descent is a better climb 😉
The descent off Ben Avon to Inchrory is brilliant though.

Does Thursday night still count as the weekend?

Marsden, West Yorks after a descent of the packhorse track. Next stop Riverhead Brewery and Tap.

shortbread & swavis nice one, north off Ben Avon is a belter one of my favorite outings.

Cheers Fergal. Had we done it the other way today’s 1000yd stare would be a 10000 one. Was pretty breezy up top.
