We’ve just been down to Italy and back in our T5.1 LWB, converted with roof and side cabinets.
It’s a 102 so on motorways it can struggle on long climbs – we’re thinking of getting a remap to about 130 just to give it a bit more flexibility on long drives. Having the extra space inside is great, we started off with a Bongo which was fun but in the end just too small to move around in when camped up, and the range was disturbingly short.

We went to the Alps last year, 5 lads went in a SWB T5, with 7 bikes, 2 were big DH bikes (650b), 5 trail bikes mostly 650b, full facers, spare wheels, spare DH tyres, full tool kit etc. All fitted. How big were these track bikes?!

I was in the LWB Brabus Vito, was lovely. We had 9 bikes and kit. Did have to take the bars off and let the tyres down to get there, mind you!

I can understand, appreciate even, your reasons for choosing a petrol engine but I expect it’s special order and very limited market should you change your mind. Hence the long wait and high deposit.

None of the other quotes has asked for more than 5000e deposit whether petrol or diesel. Knock 5000e off the price and you won’t have trouble selling – knock 10000e off and you’d have a queue of customers brawling. The wait is the same for petrol or diesel. I smell a rat (perhaps I spent too many years in business).

Fair enough. I’m amazed they sell any!

Get the optional “Renault/Vauxhall” badge pack.

Cash back of >£15k. Reliability is also raised marginally, with improved drivability.

    🙂
