. Any advice on pedals to slap on it?

Do you want flats or clip in pedals?

If flats I’ve tried 3 types – Wellgo MG-1, Carbon Cycles Exotic and Superstar Nano Evo. The Nano’s have been my favourite and got them for both bikes.

I do tend to switch a bit between flats and clips though depending on mood / what I’m planning to ride.

Spd wise it’s difficult to go wrong with Shimano for ‘normal’ spds without a platform. Cheap and last ages.

I wanted some platforms around the spd so went with Nukeproof Horizons – the bigger / squarer of the 2. With the proper Nukeproof cleats they’re great – with Shimano cleats they’re ok but harder to t clicked in.
