45mm Wet on front at 26psi and 45mm Dry on rear at 28psi works well in almost any conditions for me.

I’ve always liked the Dry as a general, gravelish tyre. There are also Mixed and Zero treads available in the Terreno range.

I really like the Terreno dry. ‘Unfortunately’ I got a new bike with hookless rims and the Terrenos specifically say not hookless compatible.

Huuuuge fan of the Terreno Dry, it just works. I only change it in winter as I specifically go looking for muddy singletrack, but if I just continued riding ‘typical’ gravel trails I’d ride the Terreno Dry year round.

I see the new ‘T50’ is basically a Terreno Dry but with a tiny bit more ‘transition’ tread between crown and shoulder. I’ll definitely be upgrading to T50s once I wear out my current Drys.

Yes – the T50s look great. Look forward to trying them.

What is the issue using them on hookless rims ?

I’ve ran Terreno Mixed the last couple of years – put them on in autumn and they are worn enough for the following summer, replace and repeat.

This year I’ve gone for the Wet version, can’t say I’ve noticed a huge difference in performance yet, but we did have the driest month on record after I put them on.

What is the issue using them on hookless rims ?

The ones I’ve got say “not for use with hookless rims” or similar on them. But I’ve just looked on the website and they all say they’re hookless compatible so maybe I’ve got some old ones.

29 x 2.1″ Mezcals front & rear on my Genesis Vagabond. Been very happy with those.
