AZ seems stalled. Biden still up by around 100,000 at 86% estimated votes counted.

The map on NYT says they’re getting the ballots from the county where Phoenix is in by 9pm Eastern tonight.

One of the most irritating thing that has come out of Trumpsters is the “he speaks his mind” reason for voting trump. ****.

In general I don’t think that’s a bad thing to support, given how many politicians say precicely nothing, no matter how many times they’re interviewed. The problem here is that Trump’s mind closely resembles a diseased, prolapsed anus, jetting putrid filth all over the internet.

He introduced himself as Joe Biden’s wife. Called Trump George (and had to be corrected by his wife). Regularly comes up with word jumbles (badakacare amongst others). Introduced, at length, his dead son, who was his granddaughter, then got her name wrong and corrected himself to then call her the ‘other one’. He called himself grandmother. He even boasted of the greatest election fraud system ever devised.

Once is fine. But it’s every time he talks.

When he was VP he was eloquent. There is no comparison now. Just compare now with 10 years ago.

As someone who has had several members of my family suffer and succumb to dementia and seen their demise over several years with my own eyes, I see all the tell tale signs of it in the small snippets of Biden I’ve seen. Especially the you compare him now to footage of him from 20 years ago so so. What a disaster. All the democrats had to do was put someone half decent up in front of Trump and instead they chose a senile old man with a dodgy past.

What a terrible choice the American people have had presented before them. Even worse than Corbyn vs. Boris. It isn’t a race to the bottom. We’ve already hit rock bottom on both sides of the Atlantic.

Arguing over non-existent diagnoses is a losing battle. Trump’s an awful president. Biden is a terrible candidate, especially when you look at all the excellent candidates the DNC had to choose from.
The Democrats completely misunderstood the appeal of Trump. They thought he got in because he is an old, straight white guy, so fielded their own. The Democrats have become so blinded by identity politics they thought that matching like with like would get them through.
Trump won because he’s an outsider and an anomaly, if he wins again, it will be for the same reason.

No they didn’t. They put forward a candidate to try to take back the blue wall. They felt that Biden could get those states back because he has the appeal needed among the blue collar workers.

CNN just called Michigan for Biden literally as I was typing something else. Excellently, at more or less the same time, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit demanding all vote counting be stopped there. I wonder if they still feel the same? No wait don’t stop votes where we’re losing! Only stop the ones where we’re currently in the lead but are pretty sure we’ll lose if you keep going!

And both those are wafer thin margins for Biden at present, slim enough to prompt a recount and drag this whole thing out until at least Thursday evening?

What’s going on with Arizona? AP called it ages ago and Fox were predicting it for Biden pretty early, people seem to be pulling back from that but Biden’s lead still looks pretty rock solid, trump needs about 75% of the remaining votes to take it.

Reckon Biden could take Georgia still? By my calculations it looks like he’d need 70% or the remaining votes counted – if these are all postal votes surely thats not unfathomable?
