    Damn, worldwide blackout coming

I think it was meant to be yesterday. A lot of people on TikTok etc pointing out to the QAnon nuts that (once again) absolutely nothing happened and there was no blackout.

You’d think at some point the fact that nothing Q predicts ever comes true would dent their belief system a bit, but it doesn’t seem to.

    Clouthub? Sounds legit.

Two members of Congress have tested positive for coronavirus after the pro-Trump siege on the Capitol last week.

Bonnie Watson Coleman, 75, and Pramila Jayapal, 55, both Democrats, tested positive after being forced to lockdown in a small room with many others as pro-Trump supporters broke into the building.

Some of their Republican colleagues refused to wear masks when sheltering, Jayapal said, calling such behaviour “selfish idiocy”.

From the BBC. What truly vile individuals, the linked video shows them grinning about their refusal to wear masks.

US lawyers seem to be set for the century. It’s beginning to seem as if a third or more of the population are happy to make scathing public accusations about any public figure, individual (or business entity) that they fancy?

Remember that mad bloke who was always late out of the pub, shouting bolx echoing up the streets:

‘yerall **** alien lizards, and, and DYOU KNOW HOW I KNOW THAT????’

(leans close and stares through you , then stabs at his temple with his index finger, winking, coating your face in that fruity acetate scent as he exhales a slow conspiratorial whisper…)

    BeCOZ………..(gurning grin)……

….I know. So areyuh WITH me, or AGIN’ me, eh?’

Well, he seems to be everywhere now. What’s more, millions more seem to enjoy gargling his piss as if it’s the elixir of life.

So has this ever happened before? Declining a presidential medal? Can’t find any examples.

Yeah. I feel a bit let down by Tiger Woods who I always though was kind of OK. He accepted his medal basically for playing golf with Trump. Went down a lot in my estimation after that.

Went down a lot in my estimation after that.

He’s obviously a very talented golfer, but he came across as a bit of a **** when his wife got sick of him and aired the dirty laundry.

Lin Wood seems to be pretty far down the QAnon rabbithole.

I’m not sure if it is all a cunning act to create uncertainty or if he has genuinely lost the plot. But he is going for all the usual Q targets “big revelations about these people coming soon… real soon.. honest… top secret operations happening… mainstream media won’t tell you about this (because its all bollocks)…” etc etc

I’m curious why he hasn’t been sued into bankruptcy. I assume people are wary of the Streisand Effect and are aware that if someone believes his ramblings then they are unlikely to be convinced by court action.

I think he’s mainly having a psychotic break.

What happens is all the “only just going with it” types then leave the conspiracy.

Leaving an ever-more hardcore set of nutters behind.

Then the leader doubles down and predicts something else, and so on.

It is nuts how they keep predicting BIG THINGS that don’t happen but that doesn’t seem to shake their faith at all. It’s just like doomsday cults from throughout history.

What? You don’t believe? Definitely a blackout yesterday in the UK. It happened about 4.15pm, I remember because I had to turn the kitchen lights on.

I asked a mate who’s got a better handle on these things than me the same question and his answer was thus:

“It’s **** brilliant in its simplicity, any time they are wrong it’s a delibrate error to throw off the lib counter insurgency”

We’re ****, I for one welcome our new rodent overlords after the fall, they can’t be worse than the current shower.

They predicted 5G would wreck their lives, they just didn’t realise it would be because of all the shiny cell-sites triangulating and logging their every movement through the Capitol.

If you really want to go down a Qanon rabbit hole, have a search for “Juan O’Savin” and “Mark Attwood” on youtube.

    Absolutely mental.

I’m not sure if it’s serious or it’s just some piss take like the majority of flat earthers.

just some piss take like the majority of flat earthers.

    Don’t get me started. 😁

The overlaps are interesting though. A lot of flerfs are QAnon as well (crank magnetism). Often covidiots, anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers for the same reson.

And a lot of the same “rationale” is used too: e.g. “if it is so obviously false then why do you need to debunk it?”, “you have strong reasoned arguments with sources, so you must be a paid disinfo agent”, “dO yOuR oWn rEsEarCh” etc

A lot of flerfs are QAnon as well

That Attwood bloke I mentioned above claims that the Clintons, among others, rape then eat children. They also drink their blood and have blood transfusions.

This all take place in thousands of miles of underground tunnels.

The other one he claims is that peoples birth certificates are bought and sold for thousands of pounds, thousands of times. He doesn’t give any reason why anyone would do this though.

The birth certificate thing got that widespread that the gov.uk made a statement about it. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/paying-debts-using-a-national-insurance-number-or-birth-certificate

Not heard the birth certificate one before, but yeah the whole “satanic elite pedos eating babies for Adrenochrome” stuff is pretty much the core QAnon belief.

    https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/jan/12/deutsche-bank-severs-ties-with-donald-trump

Deutsche Bank became the latest large company to cut ties with Donald Trump, with the firm that has propped up the Trump Organization for two decades reportedly announcing it would no longer do business with the disgraced president.

The grain of truth in qanon though is Jeffrey Epstein, who it does look like was able to easily entrap many powerful people into embarrassing sex acts and probable pedophilia, for blackmail purposses if not just to enrich himself but also as a probable agent for a foreign power.

Now of course Trump was right at the front of the queue begging to be blackmailed, but also was Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew and a litany of those who hold wealth and power.

I really hope many powerful people get taken down in the investigation, because otherwise it will look like (and probably be) a cover up. And it is that kind of dishonesty and differential treatment that leads to the conspiracy theories, fake news agenda and just the general feeling of unfairness and inequality that the likes of Trump abuse to gain power.

If Andrew Neil was American we’d be calling him a white supremacist, same goes for Douglas Murray and a good deal of the Spectator and Telegraph writers.

I was listening to a Nina Simone song the other day an in it was the line:

“School boy cops, trying to tell us it’s a communist plot.”

She was refering to the fact that this was the argument put forward in the 60’s in opposition to the civil rights movement. In the age of television and with the whole world watching the old Jim Crow arguments wouldn’t cut it any more so they needed to find a new argument. An argument which many in the non segregationist states could adopt also.

This is the argument Andrew Neil and Co. are repeating today. They are using the same words as George Wallace and Bull Connor, the most notorious and the most vicious segregationists in 60’s America.

Some reporting coming in now on pardons. I’d noticed they’d stopped…

The grain of truth in qanon though is Jeffrey Epstein

And this is the problem. QAnon point to Epstein, Weinstein, Prince Andrew, NXIVM and say “See? Proof!” and if you cast doubt you are just defending pedos. Don’t you care about children?

In reality, any sane adult knows that pedo rings and other sexual abuse stuff does happen. But there is a pretty big jump from “some people are nonces” to “all of hollywood, the elite and liberal politicians are involved in satanic babyeating rituals and Trump is heroically fighting a secret war to bring them down” 🤪

    matt_outandabout

reporting that Trump’s been advised a self-pardon would be an admission of guilt & open the door to lawsuits from those injured. “The attitude seems to be, `If I can’t get a pardon, then nobody else should be able to get one either.'”

Perhaps this is the moment where the years of crap finally cannot be swept away and hidden? One way or another now he is in the doo-doo personally and professionally up to his neck, and no-one can or will help.

In fact, Trump is so dedicated to his work to fight the evil of rich old men abusing young women that he has gone deep undercover to a similar extent Reece Dinsdale’s character did in cult classic film I.D. (love you Gumbo).

It makes sense that QAnon chose a site riddled with child abuse images and people exchanging stories about child abuse because of a lack of moderation to message out to supporters about the war against child abuse.

    Seems legit…

I don’t see much reference to this but as nickc says back in the earlier days of the internet 4chan always had a reputation for being where people could post whatever they wanted and apparently that frequently included child porn etc.

Very strange that they now consider themselves the saviours of children.

That is good news.  That is a horrific story and the idea of Trump getting some sort of capital out of pushing it forward is just too much
