Brant's Mmmmbop gallery features this utterly legendary piece of legendaryness, from "Tim":

I applaud the general approach here, which is similar to my current effort:

Pray show your modish, up-to-the-minute anodised colour-schemes, as well as the ones you had when it was last as cool as it is today. 😀

A nice piece, but disappointing lack of matching with the chainring bolts and bottle cage.

New wave awesome, breaking over you like an metallic red wave covered in bears. 🙂

Ambitious. And excellent. Needs one of these:

I haven't used anything colourful since some bar steward nicked the blue Ringlé skewers off my S-Works in 1996. I've been "wearing" black (and silver) ever since – in mourning, as it were.

That said, I do have a rasta King headset sat on my shelf. I just look at it. 😳

I've never been one for pimpy parts (see my Inbred for proof), but the TD-1 I borrowed for HTN has blue chainring bolts that matched the decals on the frame and the blue detailing on the saddle, which was white and so matched the brake levers and callipers.

That all sounds a bit subtle Mike. Almost unbelievably garish is where it's at in 2010. Especially among the sheredders. 🙂

There is no red in titanium anodizing.

This would rule it out for me. Wicked penguin-dising though.

Having anodised parts on a bike you have to lock up is like an advertisment for thieves. Had some red bolts holding my brakes on. Came out of supermarket and began to ride, both brakes fell off. Lucky I wasn't going fast.

How does one anodise bears onto one's components? Some kind of chemical mask?
