Cracking effort @ajantom. I did it over two days from Wellington (skipped Exeter itself mind) last year during that blisteringly hot September week. It’s a beautiful route with loads of good riding. If I did it again I’d actually go for two nights and have a slightly shorter final day as the eastern half the “right” way round was particularly brutal.

Tbf it’s quite brutal either way 🙂

Doing it clockwise (the wrong way) means you mostly go up on road and down off-road.
