    I believe one of the Q36.5 owners/investors also has a stake in Pinarello, so it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see the road team move to Pinarello too. Perhaps there is a current sponsorship deal with Scott that they are tied into.

    Yep, that would be Ivan Glasenberg, who is a South African Billionaire who made his money in mining and commodity trading as CEO with Glencore. I’m sure he’s lovely despite the Controversies section on the Glencore wiki page.

    I’d rather see him on a proper MTB brand but it doesn’t appear to have been holding him back riding that thing.

    I’d have loved seeing him pairing up with Nino for XC on Scott, especially at the Cape Epic.
