Loch Ordie circuit. Took my newb mate out – first time out in the hills on a bike for him. More than a bit muddy in places – infact the usual bike eating bog.

Thats not me in the pic! thats Bikepawl of these parts and Guy in the dodgy shorts.

I did wear my helmet most of the day – there is one fast rocky descent just about worth wearing a helmet for – and it would be really stupid to fall off and hit your head while carrying a helmet.

That route is always swampy in places – we nearly lost a tandem n one of the bogs once.

Nice to introduce a newb to the real stuff.
