  • Tidal Connect – playlists etc
  • Anyone using Tidal Connect…

It doesn’t seem to save your recently played, or therefore come up with suggestions based on your recently played.

This is a thing apparently, I’ve just read a thread on the WiiM forum about it

    Anyone know a workaround?

You mean accessing tidal via the wiim app? Not really sure why you would want to do that.

When you use the actual tidal app and then select the wiim as a speaker it is still using tidal connect. All your recently played etc then works as normal.

No, using the tidal app to connect to/control a streaming device – in this case, Edifier speakers

I use the tidal app on android to stream through different chromecasts, android auto in the car, and PC app direct to speakers, BT or chrome cast. The app tracks my recently played on all of those, daily discovery, mixes and are all the same across devices.

Is it just a WiiM issue

Streaming to Sonos from Tidal is hopeless. Looses connection to speakers leaving them playing, needs the phone restarting sometimes to regain control or play something else later. So bad, I’ve been meaning to go back to Spotify.
