After twisting all my 3mm Allen keys and going through a can of WD-40 I let it rest.
Big respect to Thomson, the bolts haven’t rounded, but I still want it off those forks.
    Any tips.

Tighten the other slightly to give it some slack.

Hammer torx into it then remove – had to do this a few times despite using the correct torque to tighten them.

The 3mm bolts are Thomsons defence against users cracking face plates

Can you remove the other 3 bolts and then try rotating the faceplate?

Not sure why you’d want to hammer a torx bit in to a heard that’s not rounded?
Impact driver and/or a liberal dousing with boiling water would be my suggestion.
