Birthday time is coming up, and I’m thinking of treating my Mk1 Soul to something better and lighter than it’s rather old and knackered LX wheels.

So, what is out there in the bargain bins of the world, 26″ wheel, 9 speed hub and QR ready…….?

Probably a bit late for the great sell off, but may be worth checking the classifieds on XCRacer, there was loads of high end top condition stuff being sold by racers changing to 650b/29er.

I’d be keeping an eye on the second hand market for some hope xc hubs, build onto your rim of choice
