I was in a builders merchants yesterday when i came across some gloves.
    They are absolutely spot on.
    £10 a pair.
Iv,e worn out a lot of gloves over the years but these are the best iv,e ever bought. They make fox,661 ect seem lame
The ones i got are these.

Protection in all the right places.
Nuckles, finger joints, thumb nuckle and they are so comfortable.
Even the usual teery bit for wiping your face.
Youd swear these are mtb gloves
Think i,ll get some of these for DH.

But looking at there range they look superb.
I can,t emphasize just how good these are.
These look rather good as well.

those second ones quite clearly say

    Demolition XC™

    hence unsuitable for DH

wonders if “Demolition XC™” sits above or below “aggressive xc” and “AM”

I have a pair of the pro framer gloves for work, just hitting close to a year old and they are falling to bits. but i consider that bloody good since they were £10 with a beanie hat too…

Hard wearing and good fit i have used them everyday of the week for building work.

I need some new gloves. How thick are the palms on these? I don’t like really thick palms, tbh prefer the feel of gloveless but don’t like cut up hands if I fall off.

the armoured ones look utterly shit! far too much palm padding to be any good for control and WTF do you want armoured knuckles for (especially riding DH)? the only time I ever damage my knuckles is the odd cut scratch from cutting into tight corners with overgrown holly, thorn bushes when riding XC and I don’t even wear gloves. (DH tracks don’t have holly/thorns etc and you NEVER land on your knuckles if you bail/crash).

GW- I broke 3 knuckles 2 fingers and plenty of bones in my hand in a stupid OTB crash, I always use knuckle protector gloves.

It really hurts if I knock my hand now on trees / wotnot. I’d wear a medeivel gaultlet if I could.
