Not the most famous, but a pedersen needs to be on that list.
Terry Waite’s?
How about a Brompton and a Sinclair A bike?
Just asked the nurse and she said ‘Chopper? Can’t thnk of another one, (sic) BMX?’
‘that’s all I need’ I said.
So that’s that settled.
UK ? Probably Chopper or Raleigh Shopper.
Worldwide ? Stumpjumper ?
Edit …I’d dearly like to hope not though !!!
The best selling vehicle in the world is a certain bike. And neither is British or American,
Generally? Chopper or Penny Farthing maybe. Interestingly both bikes with mismatched wheel sizes. Moulton has to be in there right?
Oooh… *fires up google*
EDIT oooohhh.
Why has that never come up in ‘daft names for bikes’ threads before?

An Ordinary isn’t a bike, it is a style of bike – there are plenty of variants.
The most famous bike must be the Lotus. Instantly recognisable worldwide.
I’d say that the Raleigh Chopper would be second (if UK-centric), but it was derived from the Schwinn.
