Can’t sleep anyway – just checked the score though and things could get interesting. Game on indeed.

Fairly balanced day overall – Anderson bowled pretty well I thought

thought we were a mixture of poor and unlucky early on – didn’t quite get our length right and when we did we didn’t get the edges. Afternoon session was much better from the highlights, and then Hussey (damn him) has done his usual dig in. He was shit in The Mission though.

If we can get them early tomorrow, then I think it’s game on; we didn’t bat brilliantly and Siddle had one of those days, I could see us posting a bigger total in the second dig and then toss the ball to Swann.

Hurrah for Hussey, bloody well deserved, real gutsy innings! Very tricky first hour today, all the luck went our way thankfully, that’s cricket for you… looking good now, ball’s not moving around and both Batsmen seem comfortable, time to build a handy 1st innings lead! Be nice to see Haddin get his ton next 8)

Meh, fair play to the aussies esp hussey, a fine innings how he survived andersons barrage I don’t know. If only we had a review left. That’s enough for me. Off to bed.

we should have had a review left after watson’s nick yesterday – picked up by snickometer but that’s not being used in this series. Cost us watson’s wicket (which wasn’t worth that much) but we’d have still had that review for the lbw too. Either adopt the technology or don’t.

On the plus side – you have to look for plusses – once one end was opened we cleared them up for relatively few, which shows good mental strength to come back. And Haddin and Hussey aside, they barely mustered 120 between them.

Oh dear. Gonna a be a fairly mighty struggle to save this one.
