Im mulling over going to qr15 or 20mm axle and am wondering if it is actually worth the bother and cost. I ride mainly exploratory xc routes which can be pretty gnarly, and the occasional bike park black and double black, plus one or two weeks in the alps a year. Up as well as down is my bag. I’m definitely not into downhill or jumping. Judging by some comments you read there are a few naysayers about so what is the general consensus? Would I get more out of a burlier wheel build for example? Curently i’m running a 130 talas

For your riding, QR should be fine. But if you are upgrading your forks, there are no real disadvantages so it’d be a good time to change.

    You’d notice a difference.
